The Georgia Obstetrical & Gynecological Society (GOGS) INVITES YOU TO BECOME AN ACTIVE MEMBER NOW. In 2005, with our strong membership, we were able to achieve a major victory in the passage of Tort Reform Legislation. Every year since 2005, we have successfully protected Tort Reform from the inevitable legislative challenges. For the past four years, we have worked to preserve the OB/Gyn’s right to bill for Pap smears. Moving forward in 2012, we will continue our efforts to protect Tort Reform and preserve billing rights. The Society participates in a coalition with others to advocate for adequate Medicaid funding and improved reimbursement from the CMOs. Your support is imperative to the Society’s ability to continue monitoring and positively impacting women’s healthcare legislation.
